As I said before, that all my lab members are genius and self-organized.

Today Andy started a seminar about biomedical science writing. He organized all of the lab members to study a book by scanning a section of this book send to us and ask us to finish the exercise at the end of the section. During the seminar, we will share the answer and discuss.

I had to admit here is that I am one of the oldest students in the seminar and the one with more academic experience but it is also me that made more wrong answer during the seminar. (Pretty shame, long way to go, baby step) They did never laugh at me which made me feel a lot comfortable to join the discussion. Study from the younger.

The group study includes two parts. After learning from textbook, we help check other members paperwork, which kills three birds use one stone. First, it helped us know better about other lab members research. Second, it practices writing skills by correcting others mistake. The most important, we help our members' publish paper clearer and easy understanding.

Group study we've been stress the importance of this all the time. I started appreciating my PBTS members. By working together we probably had creeping gotten improved unconsciously. However, I should have had a conscious for the first time and more purposely. Not only in PBTS, I should have communicated more with the lab members by organizing small seminar together study something or help to correct one's slides or paper. Even during the weekly lab seminar, it is also important to speak your thinking directly without worrying would it be offense.

I will bring what I learn back and use it in future lab life.
