Finally it is time to meet PIPS(Partner Health Center) staffs. Who helped me all the way here but still on the backstage, also these group of crucial people got authority over my valid research period in BWH. I was worried been annoying bothered them too much time for visa issues and extension applying. However, the orientation was comprehensive and detailed that almost covered every aspect of J-1 and J-2 foreigners starting a new life in America. Maybe it is because all of the audiences are from other countries, I can feel they tried their best to speak slowly and clearly. But how much did I get.

During the orientation, they almost explain everything I had concerned about visa, social security number, health insurance and transportation. I can say that things finally becoming settled down after this orientation. With a bunch of appreciation.

Hard rain today, Partner Health Center is far away on the map but actually convenient using shuttle to get there.

While I was at the orientation, professor Hata and lab members were preparing the report meeting with the CEO and managers from Canon. Yes, that Canon. With a lot of congratulations, Fumi-san and Lanny made the robot reach an extreme angle which really hard to reach by traditional device.

(Congratulations!! Fumi and Lanny)
